Who stole a whole season?

Here, in the northeast of the continental US we typically experience four seasons.. There's the cold winter, the hot and humid summer and the lovely warm and sunny spring and fall.

It appears that this year someone gave us a horrible, snowy, cold winter that lasted for six months and dumped us straight into hot and humid summer.. What is the deal here? Where are those lovely days of sunny, 70-some degree weather that we expect in spring?

This year's weather can be summed up with: snow, more snow, cold, rain, rain, rain, rain, rain, hot-hot-hot.

I want out... right after I file for beatification of whoever invented the AC. Bless you.

We North Americans stole the season ... we created so much pollution that nature is changing.

Hello there!

Still "two seasons" are better than just one. It's always 90 degrees down here in Florida and I really miss "the other three seasons" I used to get in DC. Oh well...

Anyway, I don't know how I ended up in this website, but it looks great.

Cheers,
Julian

PS: Pictures look great too !!!

I've discovered, during this recent heat wave, that my decrepit A/C really is barely working. *sigh; time to scrape up more cash.

More generally, there is mounting evidence that suggests that we're actually coming out of a ~1500 year-long _cool_ period, and returning to the kind of (warmer) weather the Roman Empire enjoyed.

I still hate SUVs, though. :-)

Yeah the heat is ridiculus now. We have AC, but man this CRT pumps out so much heat. My room is always a few degrees warmer than the rest of the house...
