Considering that I am in Connecticut (but no job leads sorry, and I'm sort of attached to mine) I thought a link to this posting might be a good idea.. I do have some readers from this hellhole of a state.
Find Ron a job - get a game system to waste your time with.. or just give him your job and play games all day, whichever.

you know kasia, every time i feel like i hate living in CT, i just need to remind myself that however much i dislike it, your loathing for it so far surpasses my own that mine just doesn't show up on the graph.
it's not really a good thing i guess, but for some reason it's comforting to me, so thanks.
#You don't live in central CT, that explains it :)
Every time I want to see a movie.. I look at moviefone.. and the 2 hour drive to the closest theater that plays it just turns me off..
#What kind of movies are these? There's tons of showcase all around central CT. West Farms and New Britain have them, plus there is a Lowe's Cinema City in Hartford.
#Hrm, there are places to see things like Spellbound. Cinema City? My parents (who live in Hartford) saw it someplace, because they were telling me about it. I don't know where you are exactly, but there's also CineStudio (I think that's what it's called) at Trinity that has really good movies a lot of the time. And I think Real Art Ways may have a small theatre (though I'm not sure). But yeah, in general CT sucks, at least the greater Hartford area.
I was so glad to get out of CT when I could. Growing up there was just blah. It always felt 2 years behind the rest of the country.
#Oh I dunno. Living in the Valley of CT makes one feel like they are living in a White Trash exibit at the Met. At least that's how I get myself to wake up each morning... well that and I know that if I didn't go to work each day Scott Adams wouldn't be able to follow around and get new ideas for Dilbert. I lived this Sunday's feature just last week.
Oops, sorry, did I drip some bitterness on your shoe?
#Best thing I ever did was to get out of CT.
