Unfortunately this is something I can easily envision in my near future given my propensity to pick difficult terrain combined with my crummy amateurish mountain biking skills. If you're queasy, don't click that link (sorry if too late).

It does beg the question, K: Do you wear underwear when you ride? Or do you have those cool super-wicking bike shorts?

I despise those shorts.. makes me feel like I'm wearing a diaper.. so unless I'm riding on really rough terrain, I just wear regular shorts (I have extra padding on my bike seat) and yes, I do wear underwear.

I agree. Plain shorts (w/undies) unless the terrain calls for some padding. THANK GOD FOR GEL SEATS! Mmmmmm....gel.
