PHP
I have to learn PHP for this little project I'm doing.. Resisted it until now but I suppose it's time to get assimilated.
Picked up this book. It looked informative enough.. so hopefuly it's a good one.

Why have you resisted learning it? It's a convient language to know and easy to learn. Have fun with it!

I've got that book. It's a good book but i'd encourage you NOT to get into the all too common practice of intermixing html and php. It gets nasty quick. Pretty much everything I do relies on templates and a central event loop for each script based on an action variable. Much nicer. They talk about this briefly in the section in that book on implementing a WebMail application.

I also have that book. It is alright. Who knows, maybe you'll like PHP :-)

dont trust apok shakur's comments kasia. He pretends to be harmless, but he's really a smelly dirtbag who needs to be castrated by a hungry, angry goat.

What in the world is your problem anyway.. You'll keep posting these.. I'll keep deleting them.. and what's the point?

I've got that book on my wishlist - hopefully I'll be reading it soon.

That's the same book I have. Massimo Foti recommended it to me. It's a good one. Enjoy. ;-)
