I suppose it's a little silly to miss a rock formation but.. it was a rather unique one after all.
I've pictures of it somewhere from my last visit to New Hampshire, glad I got to see it while it was there.

you know, until the thing fell down, i don't think i'd ever actually heard of it, which is odd considering that i grew up pretty close to NH.

I'm always surprised to see the lengths that humans will go to defeat the processes of mother nature only to be defeated. Its a sad day for many in that a landmark had been lost, but to me, I just see it as the beautiful and wonderous progression of nature. :)
