How you can fix the world

This scientology handbook from 1976 will explain how you can be the hero and fix all that is wrong in our society..

They even tell you how to deal with drug addiction..

What you can tell those on drugs will interest them -- that through proper vitamins and learning Scientology training drills to bring up their confront (sic) and communication level, they are able to come off drugs without having harsh withdrawal symptoms or suffering inhumane treatment.

Vitamins! That's what I was missing!

man...what suckers we have been to not listen to the deranged ramblings of a no talent science fiction hack like L. Ron Hubbard!

it just goes to show that John Travolta is so much smarter than us. which is why he made "Battlefield Earth" and we didn't.

hmmm... vitamins that prevent withdrawl symptoms. Is heroin a vitamin?

doubtfull, but good try Matt!

:D

I used to work with a person in Scientology. He was the admin asst to the CEO of the company. He slowly took over the guys life, including doing his finances. Over a 2 year period, it turned out that this "nice guy" had been "donating" some of the CEOs monies to "the church" to the tune of over $150,000.

He knew everything about the CEO, every facet of his life.....then when the CEO found out what had happened, he went through hell, (and last I heard is till having problems 5 years later) in fixing his financial affairs.

L. Ron Hubbard, kook, but genius. Able to coerce people into joining this "church" and get them to commit crimes in his name.

It was interesting to see how this book showed pictures of other religeons, and even had the Scientologist dressed as a catholic priest towards the end.....man

Thanks for the excellent pointer. At first I thought this was current material written in a post-modern cheeky way to combat Scientology. Then I re-read the intro and found out that this brochure was actually used in 1976. I wonder how many fell for it.
