I don't normally blog about non-geek current news events.. but Brandt is right on about this issue.
the point is that the way all rape cases are handled by the press are abhorent. but because most people have to have that fucking rolling bar running across the bottom of the screen during sportscenter and fox news in an attempt to be "informed" (although anyone who watches fox news (aka the Two Minutes Hate) has to be one of the least informed people on earth) this is the way cases like this are going to be handled.and that's sick.
Until our society stops treating sex as something dirty and shameful.. I'm afraid this is going to be it.

He is probably guilty but do you really think that we will ever know the truth? Hell no. He is going to see this incident is ruining his image and he will offer the girl a huge amount of money to keep quiet. I doubt we even see this thing go to trial, it would interfere with him being a selfish prick on the basketball court.....

I'm personally amused that everyone is talking about the "rape". I say "rape" because I doubt we'll even know what really happened on the night in question; the only people that will ever know are Kobe and the girl.
But what amuses me is that no one seems to care that he was cheating on his wife. I mean that's a fact at this point, thanks to some semen testing, so what the hell was he thinking in the first place? Even if he's found guilty his image is shot to hell, in my opinion.
More importantly, why does 90% of the US care about it, if we aren't directly involved?

I hadnt heard of it until reading this blog entry... I get out of touch with "reality" more often than not (NOT that I miss it, at all, mind you.) Looks like its his time to learn repentance... even if he doesnt learn of forgivness (from others) in this life. Hopefully this massively changes his ways. If not, why bother spending more time on it anyways... "truly, I say to you, they have their reward"

Kobe is the greatest, screw all ya'll that think he is guilty, you can't judge him! And i don't think any of this is your guys business anyways, i believe it's between him, his wife, and the stupid whore from colorado, all your business ios knowing he is the greatest b-ball player ever!
