New toy

It's so cute, cute, cute. Now if only I had a new powerbook to go with it..

(The 15GB model with docking station)

I want one too! The big downside with not having a work and a steady income is that it means no more toys. But I've located some wealthy old people which I intend to scam.
I'll be back next week with a status report. :-)

FYI - You can get PC Software for it, too... MediaFour.com has XPlay and there's some other software packages at ipoding.com... Linux versions too, I think. While you're waiting for the new PowerBooks, that is :)

Oh yes, that's how I'm using it for now.. *cringe* windows.. it's painful but works.

Not too long before new 15" powerbooks come out!

I need some expenses so I can avoid extra taxes for my company... assuming that an iPod could be considered a valid business expense, is it worth it for someone who has a car mp3 player, no mac, and a crappy walkman for the gym? I've been lusting after these things but have yet to be able to justify it to myself....

I have the old iPod so I can't bask in the joys of having a dock that looks all nice and cute. also It takes me 15 mins to set it up for charging cus something is all messed up with it and I am to lazy to take it to the shop. I have a waranty on it but I am lazy.

Good luck

In London, we'd call that a "buff ting".

Arcetrex.. it has a calendar and a contact list.. you could call it a pda :)

I know you're pretty active, running, etc. Are there any worries with disk-based players? My flash memory-based player is beat up as hell.

Kasia - do the PDA functions still work if you don't have a mac? Can I say, import my stuff from my palm?

A friend of mine has promised me either an iSight, or an iPod, despite the rather large price difference, because I brought him traffic that earned him $500 worth of GoogleAds money.

I think I'm going for the iPod. It'll go well with my iBook. Anyway, I am not that good-looking to have people look at me through an iSight :-)
