Zoned in
I just changed the time zone on my west-coast based server to eastern time..
It was really as a convenience to some other people not myself.. but dang it, it just feels so.. wrong..

anything that makes you confront the arbitrary nature of time is unsettling.
And as one of Jeremy's users, I often lament the timstamps on my email. :)

Why not just have the users set the proper TZ env var?
