Spring

For a couple weeks now, I've been dragging my camera to work with me in the hopes of leaving the office before dark and maybe, just maybe actually doing some photography.

I'm dreaming.

So, today, while it's still spring, I just took a picture that reflects very accurately what spring looks like for me this year.

I may just be in software.

You can see outside? Luxury!

Shes the cool girl there..all people must bow to Kasia Trapszo and her window view.

Who cares about the outside! Look at that pretty Gateway monitor with everything there..better yet, look at the O'Reilly book!

(Geek responsiveness..must..resist..gah, I need to take the S400 for another run too- I feel stuck at my desk..)

You can see green things outside your window? There is no screaming orange building outside? What a luxury ;-)

And the sun seems to be shining. It's raining since beginning of the week here. But who am I to complain in summer we'll be longing for water again.

The totally-empty parking lot is a nice touch. Everyone else has gone home, while Kasia languishes in the office, longing to be more focused on the blossoming fruit tree...

It's tragic. Tragic, I tell you.

Did you accidentally go to work on a holiday? It's OK, I've done that before. :)

The first wording of my comment was "you have windows?" but I was too worried about whether I was allowed to say that word in here.

I guess I should explain the parking lot? After lots of layoffs over the last few years our building is far too large for us. In fact we have an entire empty floor.. that's one of the two lower parking lots that are never used.. we use an upper one you can't see here.

Yes, dave, I have windows, 6 in that office but I share them with two office mates.

WOW ... two windows per office resident? That's great!
