How to disable iPhoto auto startup

The most annoying part of OSX (for me):

Whenever I plugin my iPhone or the memory card from my camera, iPhoto readily pops up all happy to import pictures!

Well, I say, no more sir!

Here's how to disable the beast:

1. Run ImageCapture.app (Applications, or use spotlight) while your device (iPhone, memory card, photoetching device) is connected to the computer.
2. Click on the above mentioned device.
3. Select "No application" (or whatever you want) from "Connecting this.." option on the bottom left corner.

Disable iPhoto

That is really annoying and was one of the first things I googled after plugging in my iphone for the first time ;-)

did you resurrect from the dead ?? where have you been??

Life has kept me busy. Suddenly, I remembered there's an old blog sitting here unattended.

I'm shocked anyone is still following!

Oh yes, we are. Great to see you around!

You do exist!

Thank you for this!

Hello. I just wanted to make you aware that some elements of your site are onerous to read for me, as I am color blind. I am a sufferrer of tritanopia, however there are more forms of color blindness that will also get difficulties. I can understand most of the site OK, and the parts I have problems with I am able to understand by employing a special browser. However, it would be nice if you would bear in mind us color-blind folk when carrying out the next web page redesign. Thanks.
